Rose and Hair (2011) discussed about the antecedents as factors that can affected on consumers behaviour towards certain brands. In this post I’ll discuss about my personal experience and consumers behaviour especially while doing online shopping and here are some facts that makes me decide to buy or not :

ASOS.COM (2018)

Technology in E-commerce era (Information Processing)

Nowadays, technology play an important role in e-commerce which created new terms of style in shopping habits. People are now tend to spend their time in the internet to browse stuff that they interested in. Even tough some people still going to physical store to do shopping but I prefer do online instead. The reason is just because it’s easy and handy. ASOS. com offer easy access for all the consumers through their official website and for all I need is been provided in there for instance: I always looking for new trend that they offer, sometimes about the discount, or any promotion, also about tips and trick in fashion. I’m personally really like the way ASOS provide all information because not only about the products itself but also complimentary information such as fashion articles. As Amin & Amin (2013) stated that an interactive information and hypertext could create a better environment for consumer loyalty.

Easy and Handy (Perceived ease-of-use)

ASOS.com offer official website to make consumer able to access all of the content including shopping, read news or article, chat, claim money back, feedback, etc. Everything that consumers need is in there which the website easy to use. ASOS also have mobile app for those who like shopping via their mobile phone (ASOS, 2018). For me I like they provide all systems in the website and mobile apps which can save what we like to buy in future.

Get more from ASOS (Perceived Benefits)

My experiences shopping in ASOS.com be more excited with all the deals they offer plus discount I got from them. In certain amount of money that I spent on ASOS.com, I’ll get free delivery which very convenient for me personally. Another things to add is about students discount which special for all students around the world to get extra 20% discount in every purchasing.

ASOS.COM (2018)

Not only for Shopping (Perceived Usefulness, Enjoyment, and Skill)

In ASOS.com you are not just do online shopping but also you can share what you have in terms of fashion and beauty. ASOS.com provide page for those who willing to share their experience shopping and wearing fashion stuff from ASOS which is it’s really interesting. Many of consumers who always buying stuff from ASOS posted their self with ASOS products and share that in their social media and ASOS website. It means that ASOS trying to attract consumers to not only come for shopping but also enjoy another feature.

Safety in shopping (Trust and Risk)

For me this part is very important which is common sense while do online shopping. I prefer to shop in ASOS because they have high security by log in account and certain security for keeping our credit card and personal details safe. ASOS only allow those who can access their account to be able shopping in the website or mobile app. Interestingly, ASOS never have option to save all credit card details whether in the website or app which is very good. It is very crucial to decrease the number of cyber-crime through online shopping.

In conclusion, ASOS.COM provide and offer all the elements I need while have online shopping experiences as Rose and Hair (2011) discussed about antecedents to be able explain our behaviour as a consumer.
